About
ABOUT THE BLOG
This blog discusses the different political polarizations that cause people to be placed on one side or the other of the political spectrum. The blog also looks at issues from the perspective of each side to demonstrate that people who don’t agree with you are probably not evil and most likely have good and logical reasons for feeling the way they do on an issue. We look at issues through your opponent’s eyes no matter which side of the isle you may find yourself. We also look into different reasons for the polarization that exist in our world causing people to form two party systems and attach themselves to one or the other.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am not a political scientist, an analyst, or a politician. I am a regular person who has a talent for observing and figuring out people. I am interested in the behavior and motivation of people when it comes to politics. I have lived and worked in many places, but two have been very distinct. One is a very conservative community and the other very liberal. I have had the chance in these two distinct locations to observe the behavior of these two groups of people, listen to their beliefs and thoughts about life and politics, and get to know them as friends. I have many wonderful friends who find themselves on both sides of the aisle. I feel that it is my duty and responsibility to share my unique perspective with the world. I have found that both sides have a tendency to think that the opposition is just plain evil, but each is simply trying to stay true to their values and belief system. An individual’s value and belief system makes them lean more to one side or the other and that is what is discussed here.
